Glendale Personal Injury Attorney and Criminal Defense Lawyer
Christopher Robert (C.R.) McReynolds is a founding partner of McReynolds Vardanyan, LLP, a boutique Glendale law firm serving clients throughout Los Angeles and Southern California in personal injury, DUI & criminal defense, cannabis business licenses and civil litigation.
C.R. McReynolds knew from an early age that he wanted to be a trial attorney. At the age of 15 years old, he completed high school at Flintridge Preparatory School in La Cañada, California and enrolled in college. He attended Occidental College in Los Angeles, California, graduating with a Bachelor of Arts in philosophy and double minors in politics and psychology. From there, he proceeded to the Gould School of Law at the University of Southern California. As a law student, he searched out every opportunity to gain real world courtroom experience. He worked as a clerk for the Honorable Janice Croft in the Northeast District of the Los Angeles Superior Court. Through the USC Domestic Violence Project, he represented indigent victims of domestic violence in restraining order proceedings in the Los Angeles Superior Court. This experience qualified him as a certified law student, allowing him to participate in five jury trials before passing the bar.
Upon passing the bar, Mr. McReynolds immediately began taking civil and criminal cases to trial. In his first year as a licensed attorney, he appeared before the United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit and successfully argued the case of United States v. Giovanni Ramirez, which resulted in a published opinion at 347 F.3d 792. He has handled high profile litigation in both state and federal courts, defending and prosecuting a wide variety of cases. He has handled criminal matters as well as an extensive range of civil litigation, including family law matters and business litigation. After five years defending personal injury claims, he resigned as an in-house attorney for Farmers Insurance with an undefeated record. His practice now focuses on representing victims in personal injury litigation. With more than 100 trials completed, he is often utilized by other attorneys to handle the trial phase of their cases.
Mr. McReynolds lives and works in the greater Glendale area, where he is actively involved in the community and in coaching youth athletics. He enjoys spending time with his wife and three children.
